Russell has lived and worked in the Midlands for over 15 years. In 1999 he got involved in business creation and development through the establishment of the City’s first incubation centre. For the past 8 years he has run his own consultancy practice and has led a network of business incubators across the whole of the Midlands.

His business experience includes working within multi-nationals, the public sector and in small private enterprises.  He has also been both a cash and “sweat equity” investor in a number of small businesses and so has a good understanding of the investment process and its drivers. 

With this experience and a personal network of professionals and local investors, he understands that the most successful Angel investment is not just about the funding, but also about matching people and skills to develop successful working partnerships.
