Angels Den
ENTREPRENEURS

The inspiration behind Angels Den

Bill Morrow started as an accountant with Virgin and quickly moved into investment banking in the City of London. He rubbed shoulders with many people looking for great ideas to invest in. He set up an international financial recruitment company which he sold to a Wall Street Bank in 2001. Since then he has been making his own  investments.

In Bill's world there simply weren't enough good deals out there.

Lois Cook has been helping people running their own businesses for the last 10 years. She spent some time working with new businesses for Business Link and was motivated to set up a national web support network. During this time Lois experienced how hard it was for people to find funding and that this was their major headache.

In Lois' world there simply wasn't enough investment reaching smaller businesses.

When Lois and Bill joined forces they decided to stop moaning about the problem and do something about it. Angels Den is the result of 18 months researching the market and developing a system to link Angels and small businesses seeking funding. It's a low cost alternative for getting great business funded quickly with a simple cost structure and process.

We hope you like the results. If you have questions or would like to see improvements please send us an email.
