ERASE ALL KITTENS - Investment Opportunity

Erase All Kittens is a multi-award-winning web-based learning tool designed to prepare children - especially girls - for 21st Century degrees and careers. It's main USPs: - Unlike other tools which teach only the concepts of coding - EAK introduces children aged 8-13 to transferable digital skills - enabling them to create on the web. - It is also the first coding tool designed to appeal to girls - effectively inspiring them to code, via highly gamified, story-driven gameplay. The company's goal is to equip children aged 8-13 with creative, digital skills, and to change the world for girls, who think that learning to code is more for boys.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

Other coding tools for children teach only the concepts of coding. EAK is totally unique, because as players progress, they can edit the code that governs the game environment - building and fixing levels as they play. Kids can learn languages, such as HTML, whilst saving kittens in a fantasy internet universe.
EAK is innovative as its approach has been to design a game that girls (and boys) genuinely love - one that places a huge emphasis on creativity and feels more like a mainstream game than a coding tool. There are different ways to progress, girls can see instant results as they code, and learning is seamlessly blended with storytelling.

Problem Solved

Existing tools only teach kids aged 8-13 the concepts of coding, within a game environment. There is a huge drop off in interest after these skills are learnt - because they cannot be applied creatively, in the real world.
Existing code education tools have also been designed by men - they teach coding in a very similar, instructional way, mostly to appeal to boys, e.g. Code Combat (battles) and Hakitzu (fighting robots). Sadly, teaching girls to code is being ignored resulting in more girls growing up with a lack of confidence in their own abilities and potential.

Revenue Model

Erase All Kittens will have the following business model:
1. B2C (UK/US) - Social media: Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube campaigns including gamer videos, marketing to parents via schools (where schools receive free lesson plans) — £29.99 / child / yr (approx. 200 students in Years 4,5,6,7)
2. B2B (ROW) - Sold to schools via resellers — £1500 - £3000 / school / yr (and via school districts - top-down approach)

EAK is forming global partnerships with STEM organisations, parents groups, education distributors and tech companies with an education arm -- to enable us to drive marketing in schools and homes, with a free 60 min version.
