ONCARE - Investment Opportunity

OnCare is digitising elderly care, and creating a global care marketplace by applying the OpenTable model to care: first growing the supply side (SaaS tools sold to care agencies), and then opening up the demand side (families searching for care). OnCare is currently live with over 110 home-care agencies around the UK, and more than 1100 care workers and growing rapidly every week, and is continuing to tap into the £17bn UK care market. With great investors already on board like Alex Chesterman OBE (CEO of ZPG Group), Simon Franks (Co-Founder LoveFilm) and Miles Reidy (former CFO Capital One), OnCare is raising investment to supercharge growth and take over the UK care market.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

The core products are care management software tools that we sell to domiciliary (home-care) providers around the UK. OnCare provides an app for care workers that enables them to learn about their clients, receive schedules, communicate with colleagues, and complete all of their reporting; families receive notifications of each visit via SMS; and care agencies receive all the visit data in real time, with tools to generate additional insights and reports.

Problem Solved

OnCare makes care easier, and more transparent for everyone involved, mostly by replacing antiquated paper processes with secure digital tools.
- Care agencies have tools to manage their operations save money, keep data secure, and keep the regulators happy, all the while being responsive to the needs of their clients.
- Care workers can quickly learn about their clients, and remove a tonne of admin work, replaced by a quick simple app, so they can spend time on delivering amazing care.
- Families receive updates to stay involved with their loved one's care.
As a result of all these improvements, clients receive better quality, personalised care, at the right time.

Revenue Model

Now: SaaS subscription fee charged to care agencies
Later: Commission taken on families booking care through marketplace
