TrackIT global's mission is to provide the solutions that the global supply chain players needs to enable substantial efficiencies into their supply chains whilst showing them how to identify & introduce procedures that can help reduce carbon emissions. The approach is to create a service that is geared towards mass adoption.
TrackIT's CEO and Founder Avi Azulai and head of product and development Nativ Vered pitching the company at one of Angels Den's events.
trackIT has a 5 part service of an online (cloud based service), internally developed algorithms to identify the areas that can become more efficient & an open hardware platform that is attached to containers to monitor the condition of the container & the cargo. The 4th service is a crowd shared knowledge base for customers to share their experiences on different routes to introduce predictions in their planning, which will bring about the real efficiencies. Lastly, the 5th service is an online air pollution global map that will monitor the air quality levels along the route. Over time the company aims to make this the most comprehensive & accurate air quality map in the world.
The container shipping supply chain is highly fragmented, with no single company owning a majority share of the market. There are hundreds of thousands of suppliers, each with their own information system. Hence, it would be presently impossible to build a network whereby all players update a single repository with all the information required for a container journey. And this doesn't provide any information on the status of the cargo itself. TrackIT has created a complete solution that provides the information & a patented critical decision manager (Event Recognition System) for the industry independently of all these fragmented information systems.
Simple revenue model of monthly subscriptions of either annual or semi-annual rate. So it is an annuity model for all customers. The devices are provided as part of the service. There is no capex required.
