BetterPoints delivers B2B services via a customisable, scalable Behaviour Change Management System (BCMS) sold as a licensable software as a service (SaaS). The BCMS platform, based upon a proprietary behavioural change approach and digital behaviour change techniques (BCTs), is comprised of a localisable/partner branded app, web portal, administration system, a range of incentive options (including the BetterPoints branded currency) and an application programming interface (API). It is currently used today in locations across the UK and EU to deliver targeted, data-led, incentivised behavioural change programmes in health, sustainability and corporate wellbeing.
BetterPoints has a custom range of channel packages of programmes for different channels; BetterPoints Health (physical activity and specific condition programmes...COPD, diabetes, etc.); Smart Community Travel (smart/active travel programmes in urban areas); SmartUni travel (a package for University environments and Employee Engage (staff wellbeing, recognition and staff sustainable travel. There are also applications in the areas of hyperlocal air quality messaging (via our system) and traffic data publishing (e.g. travel mode data collected in urban areas via our user travel mode activities). We also design specific research and evaluation programmes on behalf of clients.
Problem is for local authorities/councils, healthcare system, corporates (and others) to be able to engage target audiences and motivate genuine behaviour change (in area such as physical activity, wellbeing, travel, etc.) and be able to sustain it and evidence it. BetterPoints systems/programmes deliver real genuine behaviour change that can be proved (and the system can be run by the licensed clients themselves)
BP has a market-ready, proven revenue model consisting of: a) Setup and programme design fees b) system subscription charges c) professional programme support charges and d) funding for incentives including the BetterPoints currency..this currency currently has a 7.5% premium charge and a 30% breakage (profit retention) into the business.
