Mogees is a London-based company with the objective to disrupt the relationship between people and physical objects. Their patent-pending technology allows anyone to transform ordinary physical objects into ‘smart’ ones through the power of machine learning and a vibration sensor. Their algorithm converts vibrations generated by interacting with the object into unique fingerprints that can be used to trigger a variety of actions. Mogees strengths include the extremely low hardware manufacturing cost and the indiscernible latency of the machine-learning algorithm (<3ms). Their unique technology is therefore scalable across different verticals including smart toys, VR/AR interfaces and IoT.

Demand for educational use has been demonstrated by winning a EU funded project in which Mogees will be used in schools across six countries from February over 3 yrs.
The distribution of this product across mainstream games and consumer electronic channels will give Mogees the brand awareness necessary to create an ecosystem of developers who build applications using Mogees’ unique machine learning technology.

Smartphones and tablets are becoming the main ways in which people communicate, work, play and learn. Traditional musical instruments are not accessible to everybody. Mogees make ordinary objects ‘smart’ using vibration sensors and through the power of machine learning. Their patent-pending technology currently allows anyone to play music and games using any object as a controller, with the Mogees device connected to a smartphone or PC. Mogees mission is to create and deliver touch-based smart accessories and software to empower, educate, entertain and delight across varied products and business.

Revenue Model

Initial revenues have been driven by hardware sales and in-app purchases and licensing of the API to third-party developers.
On top of this, we have already discussed potential deals with companies in the toy, AR and VR game controllers and music instrument sectors interested in embedding our sensor in their existing products (NDA applies).

Exit Strategy

The company aims to reach scale close to £9m+ revenues and £3m+ EBITDA by 2021. Exit for angel investors through strategic partner or VC.
