PHOTOCERT

Photocert provides mobile self-service solutions for secure claims automation to enable insurance digital transformation. It’s solutions use Ethereum Blockchain and Trusted Timestamping Servers (TTS) to legally certify the authenticity of the pictures taken with a mobile device and improve the customer experience fostering a direct communication with an insurer’s claim handler. Tailored to the insurance industry’s needs, Photocert's solutions change the way insurers engage with policyholders, reducing costs and enhancing the effectiveness of the claims process. Photocert offers a unique scalable subscription pricing model.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

1) The innovative Photo Certification Technology legally certifies the authenticity of pictures taken with a mobile device using Trusted Timestamping Servers and Ethereum Blockchain. Photocert technology allows for a smooth integration with client proprietary systems.
2) Photocert’s proprietary computer vision and AI algorithms support the claim process staff to increase operational effectiveness, efficiency and results in an improved customer experience.
3) Claim processing with remote live video assistance, avoiding onsite visits and increasing customer satisfaction.

Problem Solved

The insurance sector needs to provide a compelling customer experience in order to remain competitive and increase efficiency. Unfortunately, slow, widely manual and error-prone operations relegate this sector way behind other industries.
Customer loyalty is the main issue, with policyholders easily switching to a competitor, because they don’t really perceive the value of the service offered by insurers. People see insurance as a burdensome necessity, and any claim process very taxing.

Revenue Model

Subscription model (annual contract, monthly price) with three plans, based on the number of requests made to the server and features Photocert use to analyse them. Each plan provides an increasing number of requests to Photocert servers and additional technical features. A request is intended as 1 picture or 1 video uploaded to their servers or 1 minute of live video chat managed by the servers. Photocert also provides custom plans dependent on the corporates' specific needs. They are currently negotiating with several insurance companies and claim handlers in UK and Italy and have their first UK client secured: Action365 – A company that manages +/- 60,000 claims per year.

Exit Strategy

Merger e Acquisition with a big Software House.
