PORT.IM

PORT is a leading edge B2B Saas technology solution. It’s the personal data management hub for businesses. PORT has a highly experienced team with a distinguished track record. PORT has high growth potential in a multi-billion dollar market. PORT has first mover advantage in the lucrative emerging personal data management space and is demonstrating strong product/market fit with initial sales and customer feedback. “We take great care of our customer’s data, and PORT has made complying with GDPR simple” Tobias Taupitz - CEO Laka. “We are fully up to speed to enrol every Startupbootcamp program into PORT” Andy Shannon - Head of Startupbootcamp Global.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

PORT is a cloud-based personal data management toolset that provides end to end customer lifecycle compliance and business optimisation tools.

Businesses can account for the personal data they control, gain a single view of their customer and unique insights, as well as respond to the regulatory demands of data subjects quickly and efficiently.

The platform features easy integration with existing technology stacks, full API access, and industry-leading levels of security and scalability.
A phased approach to their product proposition will see them move from delivering compliance tools to also enabling businesses to demonstrate their levels of compliance and trust to their audience.

Problem Solved

The world has changed. Just like money, personal data now needs to be accounted for by businesses. The way organisations have been managing personal data was acceptable in a world that no longer exists.

Privacy regulations are now enshrined in law in the majority of countries in the developed world. Most recently, in Europe (GDPR) and California. The risks to businesses include fines, loss of reputation, and lost business.

Effective personal data governance is technically challenging to implement and costly to maintain. PORT provides ready-made tools and processes with easy integration into existing systems, to make compliance simple and reduce the costs of personal data management.

Revenue Model

Revenue is primarily generated from subscriptions to the service providing monthly recurring revenue. Once adopted, PORT becomes an essential component in the tech stack of our customers, providing personal data processing tools, business insights and compliance peace of mind.

In some instances, we may generate revenue from enterprise businesses looking to offer our solution to their own business customers. These are usually in the form of revenue sharing agreements with upfront development and/or licensing fees.

PORT also offers consulting services delivered by its team as well as by a network of professionals and partners with whom revenue sharing agreements are in place.

Exit Strategy

The PORT team is aiming for a trade sale in 2-5 years.

An example potential acquisition would be by a leading technology company wishing to add personal data governance services to their product offering or a leading B2C brand to gain access to a personal data management platform to grow trusted data sharing relationships with consumers.
