Based on a sampling subscription model, start-ups 100 Company Flavourly.com is revolutionizing the way that consumers discover new fine foods, snacks and craft beer as well as connecting businesses to a new nationwide audience. Having already worked with more than 90 food companies shipping more than 170,000 of their individual products nationwide, Flavourly is well on track to become the largest food and drink discovery platform in the UK.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

Flavourly.com is a marketing and discovery platform that is disrupting the £14.2B fine food, snack & craft beer market in the UK; think marketing & feedback combined for businesses and new product discovery for consumers.

Our platform combines big data, e-commerce, on-line/offline advertising channels with a monthly sampling subscription service. Consumers pay a monthly subscription fee and receive the best fine foods, snacks or craft beer delivered directly to their desk or doors.

Problem Solved

At present, there is no direct quantifiable product sampling solution for CPG (consumer packaged goods) brands and craft beer producers. Flavourly creates a new distribution and marketing channel for these producers so they can reach new consumers nationwide and collect useful quantitative and qualitative sampling data for their brand.

It also helps consumers discover new and exciting fine foods & drink that they otherwise would not have known existed at an affordable convenience.

Revenue Model

Our revenues come from:
- Recurring revenue from subscribers split over 3 product subscriptions (Food, snacks and craft beer subscription).
- Commission cut on product sales via on-line marketplace.
- Margin on up selling single products at checkout.
- Selling data feedback report to food and drink merchants (year 2).
- Selling market data & consumers intelligence (year 3)
