Iacopo is focused on curating and evaluating the deal flow that sits at the heart of the platform. His work centres on ensuring the right deals reach the right investors, backed by the structured memos and materials that give Angels Den's network the clarity to make confident decisions. Alongside this, he has helped build the operational frameworks that underpin how the team sources, screens, and evaluates opportunities at scale.
He is also an Investment Analyst at Forward Fund, where he has led due diligence on seed-stage investments progressing to term sheet, analysing unit economics, financial projections, and competitive positioning across CPG and consumer technology.
He brings a dual perspective to early-stage investing: alongside his analytical work across venture and angel deal flow, he co-founded Sublingua, an EdTech startup he built while studying International Management at the University of Bath, where he secured over £33,000 in equity-free funding through competitive accelerators and university programmes. That experience of building, pitching, and scaling a product from zero informs how he evaluates founders and businesses from the other side of the table.
