Adrian is Executive Vice President for Eastern Europe at METRO AG and a member of the group's Executive Committee — the first Romanian executive to hold a top position in METRO's global hierarchy. Previously CEO of METRO Romania, he led the business to double-digit growth over four consecutive years. Adrian has spent more than 20 years with METRO across Romania, Ukraine and Russia, and holds a PhD in Economics. He also held a position as Angels Den board advisor from the 2022-2025 period.
