Emmanuel is focused on founder relationships, deal flow evaluation and operations. He’s also involved in building out the internal AI and technology infrastructure that powers how Angels Den identifies, evaluates and supports the next generation of companies. Alongside his role as a VC at Forward Fund his background is as a founder and operator, having built a tech-enabled marketplace, growing the platform through hands-on commercial execution, securing university backing, and driving meaningful GMV growth.
He has also played a key role in an inclusion-focused startup, spearheading a £100k grant programme in designing the evaluation framework and driving the beta launch of a mentorship platform. This work is rooted in a deep commitment to dismantling the barriers that prevent many founders from accessing capital, networks and opportunity from day one. Emmanuel is endlessly fascinated by business building in every form, equally energised by the earliest idea-stage conversations as by scaling challenges. As an investor, his thesis centres on backing exceptional founders who have encountered and navigated real, varied problems, and on the deep vertical application of AI to transform how industries actually work.
