Vishal Bhatia is an Executive Director and Board Member at Angels Den, where he is leading the relaunch of one of the UK and Europe’s longest-running angel investment platforms. His focus is on building a more disciplined and modern angel ecosystem centred around curated dealflow, structured diligence, and active investor participation.

He is a seasoned angel investor with a track record that includes multiple realised exits and strong DPI performance across his early-stage portfolio, built through a focus on consumer businesses shaped by culture, behaviour, and distribution.

Alongside this, he is the founder of Forward Group, a platform spanning venture investment and media. Through Forward Fund, he backs high-potential consumer businesses with capital and strategic support. Through Forward Studios, the group develops and produces original content, talent-led formats, and commercial media IP—using audience and distribution to drive both growth and standalone enterprise value.

Vishal began his career in real estate, spending over 18 years advising on, developing, and operating assets with a combined value exceeding $4bn, before transitioning into early-stage investing.
