About Us

Angels Den is an online investment platform that makes it simple to own shares in early-stage companies that could potentially become the next big thing. What makes us different is that we ensure a lead investor is on board before we open the funding to our wider network of investors. The lead conducts due diligence, invests their own money and often provides mentorship and connections to help the business grow. This has proven to be highly successful with over 90% of our funded deals still in business.

Our story

Bill Morrow Angels Den Bill Morrow

Co-Founder

Bill and Lois (they're our founders) created Angels Den in 2007 because they were outraged at how hard it was for early-stage companies to raise investment.

Bill's background is in investment banking. In this world, investors couldn't find really good businesses. Lois had been running an online community helping small businesses. In her world, early stage businesses struggled to get funding. Rather than moan, they decided to do something about it and began presenting businesses through the Angels Den website and holding pitching events in London.

They soon realised that the most successful companies benefited from the mentoring and connections that investors provided, as much as from the funding itself. Therefore, they started to ensure that there was a lead investor involved before opening up funding to other investors.

They have worked tirelessly ever since to make the whole process as simple and smart as it can be. Bill can be found travelling the world sharing our vision and evangelising about the right way to raise funding.
