Ape2o is Water without Plastic. Our singular mission is to eradicate single use plastic water bottles. We’ve monetised public water provision, by building a network of sophisticated water vending machines in convenient city locations, charging 25p per refill for ultra-filtered chilled and sparkling water with contactless payments and ultra-hygienic dispense tech. We are also have a complementary revenue stream selling steel refillable water bottles and other merchandise, via 3 routes to market. Our B-corp certified (pending) rebel brand promises 10% of all sales towards ocean/beach/river clean ups and conservation, which means that people become part of the solution with every refill

Problem Solved
Paying £1.50-2.00 per 500ml on-the-go (i.e. in the convenience sector this is twice the price of petrol!) for the privilege of water in plastic bottles, which in their production, distribution and disposal, are causing huge environmental problems, is madness. Ape2o provides that trusted purity and convenience of water at on-the-go locations for a fraction of the price and with no plastic bottles; at the same time, it raises funds for marine and freshwater conservation and clean ups worldwide. People become the solution.
Revenue Model
1. Water: We install and own/operate water machines selling water at 25p per 500ml. 95% GP. Contactless payments by consumer at machine. 0% VAT, 5% running costs, 10% landowner cut, 10% philanthropy promise. This is all about establishing new habits and our sales become mostly repeat purchases after regular workers, residents, students etc pass the machines each day.
2. Steel Bottles: £15 for 500ml bottle. 60% GP. We sell these bottles via wholesale to retailers, direct to consumer Ecommerce on our website and our developing direct to consumer bottle vending
3. Future Products: we plan to sell merchandise and water flavour adjuncts in future where minimum margin requirement will be 65%GP
