Investment Opportunity

Since 2017, Swytch has grown revenues of its patented and award-winning eBike conversion kit to £14.5M (FY23 sales demand). Historically it has operated a D2C pre-order model, allowing it to scale rapidly with minimal working capital investment. Swytch is now seeking additional funding specifically for working capital, to reduce pre-order delivery times as well as rolling out multi-channel eCommerce with next day delivery in 2024. This will significantly improve the customer experience, whilst increasing average order values, profit margins, and reaching the wider consumer market with a more standard eCommerce experience.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

The Swytch eBike kit is the only universally compatible eBike kit, that is easy to install onto any bicycle, turning it into an eBike. Simply replace your normal bicycle wheel with the lightweight Swytch hub-motor wheel, fit the patented connector and power pack to your handlebars, connect up and enjoy 250W of pedal-assist power up to a top speed of 15.5mph.

The Swytch product itself is in its third generation following a successful product launch in 2022 which introduced the world’s smallest and lightest eBike battery the Swytch AIR (weighing just 700g), with a 10 mile range, along with the larger MAX battery (1.1kg and 20 miles range).

Problem Solved

Now more than ever consumers are looking for more affordable, environmentally friendly products and services. But the average eBike costs over £1,000 – and most quality branded eBikes cost in excess of £2,000, making this category of electric transport out of reach for most. Enter Swytch, the universal, easy to fit eBike kit that converts the bike you already have, into a state-of-the-art electric bike, from just £499.

Revenue Model

Swytch’s D2C sales are driven through an incredibly successful digital marketing strategy, that has garnered over 500M views across google and social channels of Swytch’s variety of top-performing video marketing content. In FY23 (12 months to March 2023), over 6M unique users visited the Swytch website, driving over 744,000 email signups to the waiting list, a 100% increase on the prior year (369,000 signups), growing the total size of Swytch’s email waiting list to over 1.5M subscribers.
