Angels Den Funding Limited (hereinafter referred to as AD) will be the controller of your data (Angels Den means all entities from the Angels Den capital group, which includes Angels Den Funding Limited with its registered office in London and all entities related to it and dependent on it) and only our Trusted Partners.

3) Why do we want to process your data?

We process this data for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including:
- compliance with any legal requirements and obligations,
- ensuring that content from our Website is presented in the most effective manner for you,
- marketing purposes,
- providing you with our services (including the completion and support of immediate activity required to provide you with information and deliver products and/or services that you request and to deliver any contracts entered into with you), or
- as otherwise explained in this privacy policy or by any communication by us.

We reshaped tax-free for a larger savvy audience of shoppers by launching the first only-mobile solution, speeding up VAT refund procedures, and offering unique travel shopping experiences.

Our App extracts key information from invoices/receipts and our data science system process them into structured data to launch personalized shopping offers, segmented by geolocation, socio-demographics, or past purchases.

By using next-generation technology, we've also been a game-changer for security and fraud prevention: biometric recognition, payment and refund traceability with our own payment gateway, in-app geolocation...

Problem Solved

Showing their passport in stores, filling in forms, manual tax refund validation at customs… the customer experience of Tax-Free shopping is slow, cumbersome, and burdens with the unnecessary inconvenience. As a consequence, only 30% of travel shoppers claimed their VAT refund through traditional tax-free providers.

So at Woonivers, we shook up an old Tax-Free business model, providing the first 100% mobile tax-free experience which takes travel shopping to the next level! Everything is done in our mobile App, offering a unique and personalized user experience while enabling tax refund in questions of minutes!

Revenue Model

In the EU, the tax-free model is built to increase the purchasing power that incoming and non-resident travellers have by treating the purchase of goods as an international export.

This refund process usually is done through an intermediary (tax-free provider). In this case, the intermediary has the responsibility of validating all information the traveller presents with the Government and then transferring the money if the process is successful. In case the refund is successful, Woonivers charges a commission as a percentage of the total VAT subject of reclamation and refunds the remaining amount to the claiming part.
