WELL&TRULY - Investment Opportunity

Well&Truly a challenger brand to both mainstream snacking and healthy snacking. Founded by sisters in-laws Sara & Maria Trechman who are on a mission to unjunk snacking classics! They have over 20 years of experience from sales and marketing across several industries, have set up 3 businesses and since starting Well&Truly 3 ½ years ago have removed more than 15 million grams of fat from the snacking supply chain. Well&Truly has proven traction having traded with Tesco successfully for over 3 years, being stocked in over 3,000 distribution points in the UK including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Ocado & WH Smith and launched in 6 international countries.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

Well&Truly has a range of 10 snack products that are big on flavour and colossal on crunch and available in 3 different formats sharing, travel and impulse. All their snacks are all natural, certified Gluten Free, lower in fat & some are vegan. In an industry where consumers are used to products with long lists of ingredients (crisps have an average of 16 ingredients) whereas Well&Truly believes in keeping things simple by never adding anything unnecessary to Well&Truly's products and by keeping Well&Truly's labels as clean as possible (Well&Truly's snacks contain an average 8 ingredients) - Well&Truly calls this the Difference that makes the Difference.

Problem Solved

Too often snacks that taste good don’t do good.
Well&Truly set out to change that by unjunking Well&Truly's favourite snacks.
Well&Truly is passionate about making them as healthy as possible without any unnecessary and unnatural ingredients, but still giving you the flavour and satisfaction you get from the most popular snacks.
Well&Truly celebrate taste and satisfaction, returning to the fundamentals of what it means to be a snack BUT with a healthy twist.
Sitting at the intersection of two highly-competitive and slowly-converging categories and delivering tasty snacks to the mainstream with properties that also appeal to consumers seeking healthy alternatives.

Revenue Model

The key milestone was when Well&Truly first launched in 2016 by securing a listing with the market leader in the UK, Tesco. In the space of one week Well&Truly went from 0 sales pre-launch to selling in a thousand stores nationwide and achieved a further listing with them, taking Tesco distribution points in the UK to more than 1,500. This led to first year sales (10 months of trading) of £194,229.

Well&Truly defines growth as growing our net sales and increasing our number of distribution points and is on track to deliver net sales of £1m in 2019 in over 3,000 distribution points. Net profit will be negative this year but Well&Truly is forecasting it to be positive by February 2020
