We are disclosing details regarding the processing of personal data that is collected within our calls and in connection with your use of Angels Den’s platform, Websites and other functionalities of Angels Den, including those saved in cookies files.

2) Who will be the controller of your data?

Angels Den Funding Limited (hereinafter referred to as AD) will be the controller of your data (Angels Den means all entities from the Angels Den capital group, which includes Angels Den Funding Limited with its registered office in London and all entities related to it and dependent on it) and only our Trusted Partners.

3) Why do we want to process your data?

We process this data for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including:
- compliance with any legal requirements and obligations,
- ensuring that content from our Website is presented in the most effective manner for you,
- marketing purposes,
- providing you with our services (including the completion and support of immediate activity required to provide you with information and deliver products and/or services that you request and to deliver any contracts entered into with you), or
- as otherwise explained in this privacy policy or by any communication by us.
Where you have explicitly consented to be contacted for such purposes, we use your personal data to provide information on our new and existing products and services.

4) To whom can we transfer data?

The 10Cast team has over 75 years' experience of generating & using sales forecasts. In common with industry analysts, they recognise this as a serious problem for organisations. Previous experience implementing the Miller Heiman sales methodology with B2B sales organisations led to the creation of a manual ‘deal scoring’ tool & a database that could be used to estimate probability of winning a specific opportunity. 10Cast target complex deals where pure data analytics aren’t trusted because CRM data is incomplete & unreliable. Their approach is to augment human judgement with data analytics, compensating for predictable human bias. The sales professional still owns the forecast.

THE IDEA
Products & Services

Building on the team's consulting experience, where they designed and implemented a manual forecasting system for one of the largest global Professional Services companies, they have built the 10Cast app to help sales professionals improve their forecasting capability. This combines three approaches: predictive analytics of historical data, correction for human bias (for example individual differences in optimism) and promotion of best-practice forecasting behaviour identified by academic research. Starting from their existing database of 400 use cases, the system uses AI to estimate win probability for a specific opportunity and recommends key actions to improve this.

Problem Solved

The average Company could literally improve its forecasting accuracy by using a coin-toss. The sales forecast links the supply & demand sides of any business. Getting it wrong has serious consequences for financial performance & customer satisfaction. If a forecast can’t be trusted, the company can't plan inventory & staff levels or predict financial performance. Forecasting too high leads to over-supply of product & low return on capital employed. Too low means that customer expectations can’t be met, resulting in poor satisfaction. Reliable delivery of sales forecasts is a critical factor by which performance is judged.

Revenue Model

10Cast integrates with existing Salesforce & MS Dynamics CRM systems & will be licensed through a monthly subscription with a min. 1 yr contract. The annual subscription will be paid up front. The assumed avg. monthly price is £20/mth/user and projections assume 30% channel partner margin. Average current CRM market price is ~£70/mth/user. 10Cast’s platform uses AI to improve prediction accuracy as usage data grows, so user value increases over time. The platform will hold aggregated anonymous deal data separate from users’ CRM systems, so 10Cast’s IP will comprise data and forecasting algorithms as well as the application itself, presenting future opportunities for commercialisation.
